Why University Academy?

University Academy is a K-12 college preparatory public charter academy, consisting of three schools, located in Kansas City, Missouri. The school was founded by people who believe deeply that students living in Kansas City, Missouri deserve the opportunity to have an excellent college preparatory education. The founders' vision was to establish a school that emphasizes college preparation, career development, community service and leadership.
University Academy is looking for great teachers! If you want to work at one of the highest performing charter schools in Missouri, this is where you want to be. Our starting salary is $40,100 for beginning teachers with a BA/BS credential and $42,100 for teachers with a masters degree. University Academy offers merit pay increases and a generous benefits package. UA teachers are also part of the Kansas City, Missouri Public School Retirement System.
