Parents and guardians are critical partners with UA faculty and administrators in ensuring that students receive the best education possible. We encourage family members to involved in their children's education and make an important difference in their experience at school. Some of the ways parents and guardians can get involved are:
Canceling or delaying school during inclement weather is always a difficult decision, as weather conditions may change for the better or worse. School cancellation or delayed start notices are made by the Superintendent to radio and television stations for immediate broadcasting. Connect-Ed, a telephone calling system, will be used to notify parents and staff members of school closing or delayed start.
