Lower School Sports

About the Lower School Athletic Director:  My name is Jen Ogren and I am the new Lower School Athletic Director. I am so thrilled and excited to serve the student athletes in the Lower School and Middle School and grow our athletic programs at UA. I am currently the 5-8 grade Special Education teacher for the Lower and Middle School.  In addition to teaching and being the Lower School Athletic Director, I am also the Head High School Girls Soccer Coach.

I am a firm believer that athletics help build the student as well as the athlete outside of the classroom. Sports help teach life lessons that are hard to replicate outside of the playing field, track, or court. The goal for our youth sports program is to focus on skill development and teamwork in a positive environment. In addition, to build a pathway for students to grow into helping our Middle and High School teams be successful teams in years to come.

If you have not received a sports physical you must schedule one, and also pay the activity fees. The physical form must be completed to begin practicing (take it to your doctor, clinic or chiropractic office). The $65 activity fee for the year should be paid on SchoolPay. The athletic consent form be filled out and on file with the school before your student plays in a game.
