Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome to the University Academy Volunteer Page! Your involvement in helping University Academy has a tremendous impact at our school. Volunteering is a fun and exciting way to meet people while getting involved with our school and students.
There are several opportunities for you to choose from when volunteering. If you are interested email the link below and join us in educating the leaders of tomorrow!

Current Needs

  • Work with students in small groups in core subjects (Math, Comm. Arts)
  • Assist a teacher with clerical items (copies, grading, etc.)
  • Be a lunch or breakfast buddy
  • Be a mentor- play a game with a child, do an art project with a child or just visit one-on-one
  • Tend the student garden
  • Help at recess by playing with children or monitoring
  • Be a reading buddy to a Kindergarten or 1st grade student
  • Food drives during holiday times
  • Concessions at sporting events
