Ruth Godwin

Hello, I'm Mrs. Ruth Godwin.

Pic  Hello.  My name is Ruth Godwin.  This is my fourth year at UA.  I am a graduate of UMKC.  From swimming to reading and math, I have been teaching since my teenage years.
My teaching style includes a lot of student-led discussion to dive into new topics and for review.
This summer I vacationed with my family in Colorado, enjoyed swimming in hot springs, and worked in my garden.  At home I spend time with my husband, almost 8 year old daughter, Liath, and kittens.
I look forward to working with you and learning with your student this year.

Welcome to 1st grade!

An image of my classroom newsletter is in the Photo Gallery.  A paper copy will not be sent home.
