Dr. Clem Ukaoma was invited to present at the this weekend’s Global Learning Network conference, held in Maryland. Esteemed educators from around the world were invited to share best practices. University Academy ranked #1 of participating schools in 75 countries in the category of “Instrumental Motivation,” which measures whether or not students believe their teachers have given them strategies to succeed and the belief their own hard work will pay off in mathematics. This, combined with stellar math scores, prompted OCED to invite Dr. Ukaoma to share. Here is Dr. Ukaoma, with Dr. Andreas Schleicher (OCED France), Jon Schnur (ED of America Achieves), Will Matthews and Paul Marble (Sturgis International Baccalaureate), & Katy Hologan (senior policy advisor, America Achieves). Congrats to students, Ms. Kenyon, Mr. Persley, Mr. Burdette, and Dr. Ukaoma.
