Technology
Students
Students at University Academy use the school’s computer network for classroom exercises, tests, preparation of assignments, and research. All students in grade 5 and up will be expected to use individual network accounts for almost all computer activity at school.

University Academy strives to make its technology a safe and productive tool to enhance our students’ education. Parents of our students are partners in ensuring the safety and integrity our network. The responsibility of the school, our students, and our parents are described in University Academy's Technology Acceptable Use Policy.

In order to comply with Federal and state school technology guidelines, we ask all parents to acknowledge their responsibility as a partner in their children's use of technology. Before a student's individual account can be activated, University Academy must receive from the student's parent or guardian a signed Parent/Guardian Technology Agreement.

If you have questions or concerns about University Academy’s technology policies, please feel free to call Steve Eklund, our Technology Coordinator, at 412-5961. You may contact him by e-mail at eklunds AT universityacademy DOT org.
