This award is given to one senior at UA based on academic achievement and potential, character, leadership, social awareness and financial need.

- HELZBERG SCHOLARS - $2,000 PER YEAR FOR FOUR YEARS
This scholarship recognizes and rewards top students in their graduating class based upon their GPA and personal interviews. This scholarship is funded by the Shirley and Barnett Helzberg Foundation and managed by the Ellis Foundation.

- GREATER KANSAS CITY SECURITIES ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
This award is given to student's based on their academic performance and community involvement.
Jacob B. Halpern - Alexis R. La'Near
Kauffman Scholars is a college prep and scholarship program designed to help Kansas City area urban students prepare for and graduate from college. Scholars must be public school students and are selected based on grade level, residency, academic performance and behavior.

This award is given to two students who have consistently been invovled in community service projects during their high school years. The award recognizes and rewards students who give back to their school and community. The award is funded by the generous donations of Robbie Manufacturing.

- Superintendent's Leadership Award - $500
This scholarship is given to one student in the senior class who has displayed exceptional leadership skills throughout his or her high school career.

- KANSAS CITY STAR SCHOLAR - ATHLETE
This award from the Kansas City Star honors the top Scholar-Athlete from each of the 102 participating Kansas City - area high schools. Selection of winners is based upon athletics, academics, activities and community impact.

The University of Evansville awards this scholarship based on GPA, class rank, SAT or ACT scores, and leadership roles in high school, community and church activities.

This scholarship is awarded to minority students who attend Kansas City Metro area high schools. Students are selected based on academic achievement.

This scholarship is given to a student to honor their academic achievements in high school and on national standardized tests.

College and Scholarship information is available from our College and Community liasion - Kimberly Madden. Throughout the year, Ms. Madden presents a series of workshops for students and parents and explains in detail the college enrollment process. She also brings in a number of speakers to help explain the financial aid and scholarship process.
