Welcome! The Upper School faculty, staff, and students at University Academy take seriously the mission of University Academy for one rather obvious reason: it is during their four years in the Upper School that the dream is made real.
We congratulate the Class of 2009 - our fifth cohort of graduates. These students, and all of our students, understand that our mission is real - that all of our students graduate and go on to college. Thanks to our parents who support it, the teachers who remain dedicated to it, and our students who live it everyday in every classroom. Any college preparatory program worthy of the name depends on each group doing its part to bring about success for ouor students. Thus is a lasting reputation built over time.
Our curriculum is rigorous. Our methods are research-based, proven, and accessible. Our guiding principle is informed by a rather simple motto: we will support you, but you must do your very best. At the Upper School, there is no social promotion. The standards are clear and so are the expectations.
