Donor Opportunities
Friends of University Academy
(“Friends of UA”) was established to support special programs and
educational opportunities for University Academy students and alumni, as
well as operate an Alumni Support Program. Additionally, it engages in
other activities that support the mission or vision of University
Academy or that build community support for University Academy.
Friends of UA identifies special programs and educational
opportunities to support. For example, donations have been used to pay
for scholarships for summer study abroad opportunities with the
Experiment in International Living, scholarships for summer
wilderness/leadership courses with the National Outdoor Leadership
School, and several programs that provide books to students for their
home libraries. Additionally, Friends of UA operates a program which
supports alumni of University Academy in their pursuit to achieve their
academic and career goals.
Friends of UA is a tax-exempt 501(c) 3 organization. Gifts to Friends of UA are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
