Fortnite!

Greetings parents,

I titled this Fortnite, because I knew it would draw your attention. It is the most popular thing in the world right now. Someone you know is, most likely, playing the game, as you're reading this. I apologize, now, if you're reading this because of your interest in Fortnite, but this newsletter is about one of the best ways to socialize with our children. Have you ever listened to the music they like, played the games they play, or watched their favorite tv show. This is a gateway into the mind of our creative and inspiring students. I have included an article, both, for and against letting our children use technology. It's best if you formulate your opinion after reading them. I hope you can look at both sides of the argument, and find the common ground in between.

Let’s Connect Our Children with Coding

This class is all about being interactive and working together. Many parents get excited when they hear about their children coding. However, sometimes the parents aren’t really sure about what exactly we’re doing in class. Let’s change that here and now!

In the chart below, I have listed the course code for each class, by the day and grade level. Once students get to this site they will select their name and enter in their password. If you ever need a student’s password for home use, please contact me and I will make sure you obtain it.

Ask your students to go to http://code.org/join and type in the section code (Listed in chart below)
